WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Lista de todos los campeones de la historia del campeonato mundial de los pesos pesados de la WWE, actualmente, desde 2023, conocido como World Heavyweight Championship y perteneciente a la marca de RAW. Esta versión del cinturón como indicamos partió del 2023, pero previamente tuvimos el WWE Universal Championship entre 2016 y 2024 que unificaba a su vez al WWE Championship, y sería retirado en ese 2024. Antes, existía el clásico World Heavyweight Championship que se instauró en 2002 hasta 2013, cuando se uniría con el título de la WWE, cuando Randy Orton, campeón de la WWE, vencía a John Cena, campeón mundial, y se unificaban los cinturones al llamado WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Dicho cinturón y nombre perduró hasta 2016, cuando WWE decidió nuevamente separar títulos bajo las marcas, quedándose este para RAW pasando a ser el WWE Universal Championship, y para SmackDown el WWE World Championship. 

Roman Reigns consiguió ganar ambos cinturones a la vez, el Universal y el de WWE, y en WrestleMania 38 de 2022 los unificaba llamándolos el Campeonato Universal Indiscutible de WWE (Undisputed WWE Universal Championship). En 2023 se haría un nuevo Draft separando marcas y ese título (doble) de Roman pasaba a ser solo de SmackDown, creando a la vez el World Heavyweight Championship para RAW, el cual describimos aquí. Llegaron a coexistir así realmente tres títulos mundiales. En WrestleMania XL, cuando Cody Rhodes consiguió derrocar al fin al invencible Roman Reigns, el cinturón universal era retirado, aunque con la supresión de este título en ese instante, no se reconocería a Cody como campeón Universal como tal, y lo mismo ocurriría a John Cena un año después cuando derrotaba a Rhodes en WrestleMania 41 de 2025. Solo se reconocerían como campeones del campeonato de WWE. El título se desactivó entonces y se pasó a tener solamente el vigente World Heavyweight (creado paralelamente en 2023) y el WWE.
